Nicole’s practice focuses primarily on family law. She is a trained mediator and collaborative family lawyer. Nicole encourages her clients to engage in alternative dispute resolution whenever possible and truly feels that these processes should not be the “alternative”, but the norm.
Nicole is also experienced in litigation and appears regularly in the Supreme Court (Family Division) when litigation is necessary.
No matter the process, Nicole sees her clients through emotionally trying times with compassion, respect and a practical approach to resolving their legal issues.
Nicole practices in the HRM the Annapolis Valley and works with clients virtually across the province.
Nicole earned her LL.B. from the University of New Brunswick in 2011 and was called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2012. She is an active member of the Canadian Bar Association and ADR Atlantic and is the President of the Association of Collaborative Professionals of Nova Scotia.
Nicole enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her family and friends, and her dog, Charlie.
