Doug Livingstone
Doug has been practicing law in Dartmouth since 1975.  He is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University and Dalhousie Law School. His primary areas of practice are in real estate transactions, corporate commercial matters, wills and estates, and civil litigation.
He served for three years as president of the Dartmouth Barristers Association.

His community activities include membership in the Rotary Club of Dartmouth from 1976 to the present, including two terms as president; membership on the board of directors of the Dartmouth Pre-School Association from 1977 (including a number of years as chair) to 2019; founding board member of Feeding Others Of Dartmouth Society, (which operates the soup kitchen known as ‘Margaret’s House’) serving on the board from 1999 to the present, with 14 years as chair of the board; board member of The Public Good Society from 2007 to the present including the past 6 years as chair. 
 
He is a recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee medal and the City of Dartmouth 250th Anniversary medallion for service to the community.
